Local Signals

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Local Signals collects and uses information when you visit getlocalsignals.com, request a visibility audit, or book a call with us.

Information we collect

When you request a visibility audit, we collect your business name, location, and email address.

We also collect limited technical information associated with the request, including your IP address, browser user-agent, submission time, and the page or call-to-action that led to the form. This helps us prevent spam and manage duplicate requests.

The lost-revenue calculator runs in your browser. The information you enter into that calculator is not submitted to Local Signals by the calculator itself.

How we use information

We use submitted information to:

  • prepare and follow up on a requested visibility audit;
  • respond to an inquiry or schedule a conversation;
  • maintain our lead records and prevent abuse or duplicate submissions; and
  • operate, secure, and improve this website and our services.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers that process information for us: MongoDB hosts audit-request records, Resend delivers internal notification emails, and Cal.com handles scheduling when you choose to book a call. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect our rights or safety, or respond to a valid legal request.

Retention and security

We retain audit-request information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, manage our business relationship, resolve disputes, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. To make a request, email coreyamccoy@gmail.com from the address associated with your request.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
